Lynx look a lot like bobcats, but the tip of the lynx’s tail is all black, while a bobcat only has black on the top part of the tail. Like the bobcat, the lynx is a very efficient hunter. A single lynx can take down an animal much bigger than herself, such as a reindeer, but they usually focus on smaller animals, such as birds and hares. The lynx can be found in North America, Europe and Asia, but in some parts of their range they are extremely endangered and are still hunted for their thick fur coats. If you want to help this agile and graceful hunter, support research and conservation efforts that protect the lynx from losing their habitat - and don’t buy lynx coats. The lynx needs it more than you do!
