It’s a great time to be watching birds nest and go about their business. Check out some of these birdcams from the US, Panama, Bermuda, South Africa and New Zealand. There are plenty of birds around the world to keep you busy!
- Bermuda Petrel – Nonsuch Island, Bermuda – The cahow pair has their one egg! Internet is a bit iffy, but keep checking back as this can be a really wonderful show. If the nestcam isn’t working you can always watch the egg being laid in this wonderful clip.
- West End Bald Eagles – Catalina, CA – We have eggs at this cliff nest!
- Allen’s Hummingbird – Laguna Nigel, CA – Two chicks, Faith and Eros are growing quickly and close to fledging!
- Northern Royal Albatross – New Zealand – there is a chick who hatched January 30!
- Peregrine Falcons – Great Spirit Bluff, NE – Its about time for the male to return ….stay tuned.
- Sauces Bald Eagles – Channel Islands, Catalina, CA – There’s at least one egg in this nest! More to come.
- Bald-Eagles – Decorah, Iowa – Mr. North and DNF now have two eggs!
- Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge – Sacramento, CA – Great views of waterfowl in breeding plumage this time of year!
- Mississippi River Flyway Cam – Brice Prairie, WI – Watch as thousands of birds rest up before and during migration at this hotspot.
- Long-eared Owl Winter Roost – Missoula, MT – Watch Long-eared Owls throughout the year. In winter they roost here and in summer they nest.
- Panama Fruit Feeder – Panama Canopy Lodge – Never a dull moment at this terrific feeder!
- California Condor Sanctuary – Big Sur, CA – Check out the adult and juvenile Condors who are monitored by scientists who provide them with much needed lead-free food. All food provided here is from stillborn animals.
- Lesser Flamingos – Kampfers Dam, South Africa – Check out the Lesser Flamingos on their breeding ground and lots of other waders and birds at this globally important biodiversity area.
